Big Brother

Big Brother is a CBS competition based reality show which is currently in it’s 14th Season.

A group of people live together with no connections to the outside world for three months in a house equipped with dozens of cameras. The show airs on CBS three times a week. Sundays, Wednesdays, and the live eviction show is on Thursdays. Every week someone is evicted from the Big Brother house by a group vote until the last person remains. The winner of the show receives $500,000.

Julie Chen has been the host of the show since it’s inception.  Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan are executive producers.

Live feeds are available online for fans to watch inside the Big Brother house during the duration of the show, which airs from July until September. (Season 9 was the only season to air in the winter due to the writer’s strike of 2007-2008.) The live feeds are available via subscription to SuperPass at Real Networks.

‘Big Brother After Dark’ airs nightly on Showtime 2 between 9pm PST and Midnight PST. Says Allison Grodner, “That’s prime time for the Big Brother house. It’s when our HouseGuests are most wide awake and having fun, talking about strategy and playing the game. People are going to see quite a bit.”
