Big Brother Canada: NEW Commercial

The new SLICE ad shows it's Canadian pride!

Less than two weeks until Big Brother Canada gets underway, and to get fans pumped, SLICE has a new promo commercial to get you psyched!

Set to the tune of The Police’s “Every Breath You Take,” the new commercial pokes fun at Canadian stereotypes. A logger, a guy shoveling show and hockey players are all excited for the Wednesday, February 27, 2013 premiere.

There’s a lot of speculation about the show but really, no one knows much yet. But being as there are less than 2 weeks until it begins, we’re hoping house photos and a cast reveal will happen SOON.

Many are wondering if Big Brother Canada will be more like BBUK, or BBUS. If you could have your pick, which would you rather it be like?

Insight Productions the people in charge of reality shows in Canada have already said it will be very similar to BBUK in public involvement but will still follow the BBUS evictions.

  They never said it would be like BBUK in public involvement. If you read carefully you’ll see they’re talking about the same stuff BBUS does: voting on food items, powers, etc. It’s going to be an exact clone as much as that is possible.

Wow, The Brick is an official sponsor. For those in the U.S. who don’t know about the company they are a huge furniture-type store (sell other stuff as well such as TVs, appliances, etc.) that does your stereotypical furniture store commercials–loud, over-the-top, etc. I wouldn’t be surprised if all of the furniture in the house is from them. Considering the production company and Shaw were looking for companies to sponsor different aspects of the show we might even see a “Brick” room. This could actually end up being quite funny as I’m sure some people will have a fit over the blatant commercialism. If this concept works I can see CBS and Grodner doing the same thing for BB15.

  CBS already has done that, sort of. Not with furniture (that I can remember), but with food. Burger King in season 4, Subway in several of the earlier seasons, and last year the Kellogg’s corn flakes box episode.
  
  A “Brick” room… that would be funny! I would love to see that style of advertising/sponsoring on USA’s BB. It would probably be in the form of a “target” room, or “dollar” general store room,. Still, it could work.

Not much a fan of the BB UK style. Besides the BB US style I have found the BB AU style pretty entertaining as well. A little more tame to the US though. Will we be able to see BB CA here in the states…please let it be so.
