Here’s our (late) interview with Will Heuser, the most recent evicted HouseGuest from Big Brother 14.
When did you realize you were likely to be evicted?
After the PoV ceremony. The writing was on the wall, but Frank had a golden opportunity to make a huge move, to get rid of one of the best players of all time in Dan.
Who do you see winning this game?
I definitely think Dan is set up for another win, though I have a gut instinct that Ashley is going to end up on one of those two final seats. She’s coasting through and well liked. Anyone that evicts her will be a total villain.
Who do you see as next out?
Either Jenn or Joe, they are probably next.
What players do you anticipate remaining friends with after the season is over?
I’d like to stay in contact with all of them. Jenn and Ashley were so sweet to me this week, we all pretty much knew that there was a large alliance, and that it was a sinking ship.
What was the most fun you had in the house?
My birthday was one of the best ones I’ve ever had. It was nice to let lose and forget about the strategizing.
Describe the inspiration behind “Straight Craig”.
I don’t know how that came to be … but Craig was birthed in the Big Brother house and loved all the “sexy ladies,” let me tell you!
What do you make of Shane and Danielle’s “non-mance”?
Shane is a total jerk to Danielle. He doesn’t want anyone to think anything is going on there, and she’s got a guy back in Alabama she’s smitten with as well. So it’s comical.
Will you go back and watch any highlights?
I’m going to have a few drinks. Next week I’ll sit down and replay it. But I’m taking a 48-hour hiatus.
What’s next for you?
I freelance creative direct, I also have an online show, it’s musical comedy. I’ll jump right back into that. It’s TheWilShow.com or on YouTube under “The Wil Show”. And I’ll be back on Twitter @wilheuser.
Do you have any regrets about your gameplay?
From day one I had a strong feeling the coaches were going to come in. Then I let the houseguests convince me we were staying in our team formats. Janelle, Joe, Ashley, and I were in a great position in the house. And I naively went with that notion, and lied to Frank and Mike to help sway the next HoH in our favor if Frank was evicted, and that move cost me.
Did you enjoy Joe’s cooking?
Hell no! The best relationship I had was with the toilet.
Give us your impressions of Big Brother Houseguest Ted.
I’m not going to give Frank any pleasure there. Ted needed to go on Day One. He should have gone instead of me!
What was the hardest thing about being in the house?
I came prepared to miss family and friends and to take on the boredom. But not being able to talk to someone that knows you was difficult. The last person I wanted to talk to last week was Frank, but you have to put on a stiff upper lip and go with it.
What do people who watch the feeds religiously not realize about being in the house?
It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done, being completely isolated. Everyone in there right now has a moment where they felt completely alone, without a friend to their name. You can’t prepare yourself for that. You feel trapped.
Will you miss anything about the house?
I never went to summer camp when I was young, and this was a big slumber party. There was a lot of camaraderie. All 16 people I was trapped with were phenomenal individuals. It was an honor to compete with them.
