When I was traveling to Los Angeles to visit the Big Brother 14 house I was brainstorming questions to ask Julie Chen for our pre-season interview (which is AMAZING btw, did you see her do The Chenbot?!).
I knew Julie spoke Mandarin and thought it would be fun to hear her say something in the language. Just before taping, Kimberly, who helped coordinate the shoot, gave me the brilliant idea – have Julie send a message to fans, in Mandarin. I loved the idea and we went with it.
I've had a lot of people ask me, 'What is it like meeting Julie Chen?' and I'll just say, it's a trip! She is so gorgeous, I mean, she is flawless. Her skin, her hair, her teeny frame. Of course she has some help looking that nice and I couldn't help but feel like chopped liver standing next to her. The Chenbot is unbelievably hawt.
But besides her hawtness factor, she struck me as very down to earth, not pretentious at all. She was really easy to talk to and I got genuinely good vibes from her. Like, I would LOVE to sit down and chat with her about past HGs over a bottle of wine like Dani says she got to do. (Not sure if Dani mentioned wine or not, but in my fantasy land, there's wine.)
ANYHOW…back to the subject. Julie Chen speaking Mandarin. We asked her to deliver a message to you, the fans, and here is what she had to say. Can anyone translate this for me? Seriously not joking, I haven't heard what she says yet. Who speaks Mandarin/Chenbot?
