Villain Of The Week: Sorry, Frank

The BB evictee played hard, but not always nice.

Welcome to the first installment of “Villain of the Week,” where we spotlight a figure in the reality TV world that made a particularly bad impression in the previous seven days. With any luck, we’ll have a bunch to pick from every week.

We’re going to stick with Big Brother contestants for now, because it’s what we’re mostly talking about these days, and it’s not like there’s any shortage of candidates, right? This week, we’re going to salute outgoing houseguest Frank Eudy – not that he was such a bad guy in his final days on the show, but he was one of the primary driving forces in this season’s house, and this will be our one chance to mention him.

Frankly (see what I did there?), he’s the type of player BB could always use more of. He’s obnoxious, but not so much so that you absolutely can’t stand to watch him any more. He played hard, and wasn’t afraid to take some risks despite the almost constant trouble he was in. I’m not one of those people who thinks winning competitions is or should be the be-all and end-all of what makes someone a good player, but one has to respect his ability to get himself out of trouble with his numerous victories.

But bottom line is that cheating in the game – well, we can’t excuse that, especially for someone who quite frankly (I did it again!) had more than his share of unofficial help this summer. Plus, he basically served as Boogie’s muscle while the mayor of Chilltown was still in the game. Being an ally of someone who is repulsive I can understand and even praise on some level, but actually seeming to enjoy his company is a character flaw, no doubt about it. (Don’t get cocky, Dan; I’m sure I’ll get to you soon enough.)

The next villian for me of BB is Dan. Why because he uses the bible for his deals and then back stabs you as well as using all but Shane for final 2 deals that the others are not aware of each other. Good play move but bad at the same time. Also throwing his own funeral and throwing everyone in the quack pack under the bus and running them over a few times. He is my next villian you already had Frank for this week.

I always loves frank ,for what he is,,,Everyone want him up on the block…but he win to get off…He is a good BB player game…..Dan now I don,t like him…Because of the BIBLE play…And throw you under the bus….Not good…….

  I agree so much to this comment it’s not even funny…It’s not the bible play so much just the arrogance that took over him…He sucks now….I loved him in season 10 with his 4 person (likable bty) allaiance….Now he just looks cocky and acts fake as ever. Especially is fake tears he pulls out of his ass. So sick of this guy – he changed in a bad way – miss the old dan.

Dan…hate, hate, hate his smirks to the cameras! Production has helped him get to where he is now…he was on his way out week 3…when BB decided to keep all the caches in the game for the reset…JoJo was sent home instead of Dan and Dani!

    true but the week before dani was on the block.if they were smart they would have got dan dani out then.i am sure production helped them just like they helped frank so many times.if people are going to say production helped frank.i guess the same can be said of dan and ian.

  When the coaches got to join the game as players, Dan wasn’t on his way out, Frank was the one on his way out but thanks to the reset no one went home that was on the block.

I say Dan is a villain, but not in a bad way. He’s playing the game in a very cut throat way, which is fun to watch, although his DR’s leave quite a bit to be desired.

  Finally someone seeing the game for what it is. Like Dan said himself in his season he sis play different, but this season was cut throat. I find it funny that they pick on Dan about this when Frank treated Ian terrible. Frank was on the block all those weeks because he had no social game. Too bad BB keeps bring back past house guests, because I would have loved to have seen Frank play his own game and not Boogie’s. So BB lets have all new people unless it is an allstars and don’t make allstars next season. Give us at least 1 season with all newbies. You want to bring past hg’s back? Let them host some comps and leave it at that.

    frank treated ian lol i think you got it backwards.ian backstabbed frank and like the hypocrite baby he is cried foul when he got called on it.why do people like you act like ian such a saint.he was willing to let dan take the fall for him and he backstabbed frank .frank was on the block all the time because they were jealous and could not beat him.i am just so sick of people babying ian he’s a grown man even if he acts like a 12yr.old on a power trip.

its annoying when all of the people you like leave the show one by one but really it comes down to production interfering for some reason….really did not like this allaince from the start, perhaps it was that I was such a big fan of dan but he chose awful liars except shane to stay with. Since obviously (unless a rabbit is pulled out of a hat – Jenn not evicted) – I call shinnagans

Frank has been my favorite always. I think he got a bum deal. Certain people hated Boogie, but that is who Frank had as a coach. I see Frank as a player that gets along with everyone and that did include Boogie. He was a beast at comps and frankly production didn’t do anything that they haven’t done all along for just about all players. People have to realize that it is a reality tv show and production is involved with all reality shows to provide entertainment. Once Boogie was gone they just didn’t want to work with him as he was such a threat and that supid Quack Pack was formed. If Ian had not been running back with all the info who knows what would have happened. I have never been a fan of returning players and for me BB has ruined the last two years by insisting on mixing players that have played before with new ones. The majority of these people had not even seen that much of BB so I think Dan could have played like he did in his on season and been just fine. Now he has turned into a person I would clearly call a villian. Do not like him at all now. JMO

Dan next. His mist is still working on people. I even think Ian has not yet caught on. Final 4 after Wed special live eviction and then the fun begins when they all have to make a choice. Will there be anger, tears, tantrums? I hope so.

I DESPISE DAN!..and do not want to read an article about him..the twisted use or should I say MIS use of the Bible to win at all costs is distasteful. However his snarky comments to Ian and Danielle because this ugly little man feels superior makes him the #1 nastiest BB player ever. I despise watching him, there is really something seriously flawed in someone who would do anything to win..this guy borders on sociopath.

Frank? Are you serious?Dan’s a low life,backstabbing,pyschobabble liar (yes,I know,it’s a ‘game’)but Frank was a good player,he won comps.His problem was that he trusted and pledged loyality(which has absolutely no place in this game)people.
Come on,there’s a way of doing things and still winning.
This is my last year of BB (not because of Frank) I wish the game was played like it once was,now it’s cruel and twisted.The people seem to get more insane with each new season but what also made my decision was going into chat and actually seeing the madness that goes on between the ‘real’ people,they’re absolutely addicted,they act as if they’re relatives to these people and they know them.
I realized that I don’t want to set an example like that to my child

WOW somebody drank the crazy kool aid. Frank was far from a Villian. All he did was fight to stay in the house while everyone else plotted against him. Dan has zero integrity. Danielle is mentally unstable and completely narcissistic. Ian could of been a good guy but set out to be evil. Give the title to the little rat it would make his year. Shane is clueless. Frank played an honest game. More honest than anyone else in that house. To call him a villian is more that a little short sighted.

Frank was no villain. He was a target from week 1 and played hard to stay in the game. Dan even said himself he knew he could not beat Frank so he had to resort to faking an alliance with Frank in order to gain his trust and then get him out the house. The true villain is Dan. His walking around with the Bible when it’s convenient is wrong. He mentioned a verse about earning your income with dignity and hard work…..maybe he should practice what he preaches. FRANK FOR ALLSTARS!!!

Frank is clearly the winner of this game. Certainly Big Brother will ask Frank back – perhaps for a new All Star Season. Way to go Frank!!
Dan doesn’t hold a candle to Frank’s game.
I have lost total respect for Dan, the bible toter swearing allegiance to Frank on his wedding ring, Chelsea his wife and the cross necklace his grandfather gave him – shaking Frank hand only to betray the value and meaning of trust. Here’s a scripture for you Dan Gheesling Mark 8:36 — For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? — I hope you lose the game, the respect of your wife and learn something about the value of trust. As Far as Dan Gheesling teaching teenagers in a Catholic School – Wow, what a great example to them, and the viewing audience who may not even read their bible to see how flippant and easy it is to blow off sanctity and trust for a bit a cash. Nice Dan – how are you going to justify and make excuses for this?!
