Lisa Lampanelli Shows Off 50 Pound Weight Loss

Celebrity Apprentice star Lisa Lampanelli has lost 52 pounds and counting — and she has another reality TV star to thank for it.

Lampanelli tells pal Bethenny Frankel on her talk show that she lost the weight after being referred to a doctor by Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Caroline and Albert Manzo. Albert Manzo — and his daughter Lauren — have both had gastric bypass surgery to lose weight.

Lampanelli, who has appeared on Frankel’s reality series Bethenny Ever After, showed off her new figure following a gastric sleeve surgery on Bethenny on an episode airing today. Her husband also underwent the procedure.

Meantime, Frankel is 4 weeks into a 6-week summer test run on her new daytime talk show. Based on her strong ratings, particularly among the 18- to 24-year-old female demographic, Bethenny is expected to be picked for a full season next fall.
