Recap: After Rehab

Well, here we get to see what happens AFTER rehab. They were asked to do a special so I guess the show isn’t over yet!

This week they focused on Bai Ling, Michael Lohan, Jeremy Jackson, and Amy Fisher. All four claim to be sober. I believe two of them,(but one of them I never believe). Every one has a different story and level of disease.

Bai Ling seems to be doing very well! I’ve seen her several times since the show ended, and every time I see her she is a different personality. I kind of love that about her- it keeps things exciting! I said before I think she clearly WON this season of celebrity rehab. She is getting the help she wanted and staying true. She looks really great and is filming a new movie. We got to see her reunite with your mom after several years and I know that visit was really special for her.

While watching Michael Lohan’s segment, my friend queried, “How does this guy make money? His kid isn’t even famous anymore”. As far as I know, he has his hands in investments and MEDIA. Investments like his newest venture, a rehabilitation facility. Those who can’t do – TEACH? I started to buy into Michael at one point but I’ve heard several things that make me know to stay the hell away from that guy.

Jeremy Jackson actually is looking human again! I kind of even find him attractive. He’s lost a lot of weight and doesn’t look like such a meathead anymore. I like Jeremy, he’s a nice guy and very intelligent. I hope he does really well. I’ve also said this before- I wasn’t too concerned for him, I knew he’d do just fine. He’d already done this before.

Amy Fisher wanted to do the show possibly to make the stigma of her name go away, but it sure seems to be brought up a lot! They were trying to get her to meet with Mary Jo Buttafouco, but she was not having that at all! Which kind of doesn’t seem that sincere to me – I don’t know about you.

We meet Mary Jo and she seems to have gotten over the fact that she got shot in the face! The thing that upset her most was her child witnessing and dealing with that malicious act and the way it affected him. Seeing that Amy is a mother now as well, you would think that she’d have the maturity to suck it up and apologize publicly (again?) and have a nicer ending to her story but I guess she’s “not ready yet”. She claims that they made her plead guilty for “accidental assault”, but she didn’t plan it, “I just got mad”. Then what was she doing there with someone else’s gun with her?

So, it looks like half the group is making progress so far I have no clue how the rest of us will fare on next week’s show (Well, I know how I do), but I’d say the odds are about the same! Stay tuned for the second part of the Special next week!
