DWTS Recap: Paso Doble Perfect for Maria and Derek

Are the judges playing fair?

DWTS Recap: Paso Doble Perfect for Maria and Derek

Perfect 10's for Derek and Maria! Maria Menonous's Paso Doble with partner Derek Hough was an entertaining romp complete with cheesy vampire teeth. Maria's perfect scores only furthered what many fans have suspected all along: the judges love Derek.

Tonight's show had fans in an uproar over the scoring of Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. The judges gave horrible critiques for their challenging Argentine Tango. Bruno said Melissa looked like she was in a cyclone and Carrie Ann said it was “Cirque du Soleil went terribly wron

g.” Melissa was not the best dancer of the night, but she certainly didn't deserve those low scores. It seems the judges “want” her in the dance duel so they can send her home. Melissa's scores only furthered what fans have long suspected: the judges hate Maks.

Maria took first place tonight, Katherine came in second, William and Donald share third place, Roshon captured fourth place with Jaleel and Melissa landing in the bottom two.

I totally agree with the judges comments. She’s had some decent nights where she danced ok, but last night was terrible. To me, she always looks scared to death and like she’s counting every step. She’s jerky and stiff and sometimes just out of control with her movements. Every step looks forced and unnatural. Nothing flows. I hope she gets voted off.

Funny the judges were A-OK during season 12….. All of this drama seems a little scripted to me,shades of season 13 again??? Same old tantrums, etc. Melissa is not a very good dancer, these people are just voting for Maks to get the mirror-ball trophy… maybe he will win it one day with a GOOD partner.

Totally agree with the judges. She’s the weakest dancer left and that Argentine Tango was a mess. Doesn’t matter how challenging Maks makes the choreography if she can’t do it.
