Glass House Episode 7: Alliances Fade
Who did American vote to eliminate, Jeffrey or Mike?
This week’s episode of Glass House did not include any alcohol. That’s probably a good thing since I’m pretty sure AA was called in after last week’s drunken mess.
Instead of booze, this week we get a lot of confusing alliance shifting. From out of the blue everyone goes from fighting on two different sides of the house to just fighting everyone. Erica is besties with Erica. Joy hates Gene but loves Gene. Kevin is the same douche as always. Jeffrey is ditching Gene for Andrea. Even America seems to have gone all bipolar. What a weird episode.
Oh, speaking of Kevin, he got to stay. America decided to vote Mike the bully out of the house forever. Or at least maybe until next week when a contestant re-enters the game.
This week’s episode picked up right after Jeffrey decided to put himself in limbo next to Mike. Andrea and Kevin think Jeffrey’s move was really stupid and that America will see right through it and send him home. This leads to a pretty big argument when Joy steps in out of no where and turns it into a fight (shocker). There’s some yelling and performing for the cameras but I’m not even sure what the fight was about. And I was even paying attention this time. I promise.
I think that fight must have gone on for a while because it’s already time for Jeffrey or Mike to return to the house. And as I already told you, Jeffrey returns and we say goodbye to Mike. Joy and Gene let Jeffrey know that while he was gone, his BFF Erica has grown close to Andrea and closer to Kevin (and by closer I mean clingy-needy-psycho-stalker).

And now it’s time for my favorite part of the whole show: who does America hate the most? This week it’s surprising. America decided Andrea doesn’t suck but Joy and Stephanie do. That means they’re going to be the team captains for the week’s challenge and one of them will be going into limbo.
For the challenge, Joy picks Gene and Andrea for her team. Stephanie picks Kevin and Erica. Jeffrey sits this one out to even out the numbers. The challenge is kind of a giant ski ball game with a bit of an edge. Kevin wins $5,000 during the game and Team Stephanie wins. That means Joy is up for limbo. But who is going to join her?
Erica has already flipped sides and Jeffrey is considering it. They decide to leave their decision up to America and will find out their answers, I mean “fanswers” that will be delivered by Andrea’s family. America agrees that Jeffrey and Erica should go agains Gene. And since they voted for Andrea’s family to visit the Glass House, they must really be on her side now.
It seems as if Jeffrey didn’t vote for Gene because the votes were a tie. And that means Joy gets to pick the person who will sit next to her. And I’ll say it again: that little rule has to be the absolute DUMBEST reality show rule in history. Why should that person be the tie-breaker? NO sense. None.
So Joy or Andrea will be heading home next week. And unless America flip-flops again, Andrea will be safe.
Oh, and according to the promo for next week, a previous player returns to the game. Who do you hope returns?
