Who Won The Glass House?

Which contestant took home the $250,000 during the season finale?

The Glass House crowned its season one winner Monday night and since the decision was in America’s hands, it was really no surprise who walked away with the $250,000 grand prize.

Kevin, the police officer from Toledo was voted as the winner. Just like nearly every other fan vote, the “hot” guy will almost always win. Of course I’m generalizing, but I’ve been doing this long enough to generalize about such things.

He defeated fellow contestants Erica, who was named runner-up, and Andrea. Earlier in the finale episode, we saw Mike and Jeffrey get eliminated, leaving Kevin, Erica and Andrea as the final three.

The rest of the episode was spent on Erica and Kevin’s “nomance.” Erica was really made out to look a little obsessive. Mike even referred to her thing for Kevin as “Fatal Attraction.” When it came down to the final moments, the three contestants stepped out into the “yard” to find a crowd of friends, family and a lot of paid extras.

They were then asked to give a final plea behind a podium (even though the votes had been closed for who knows how long). It all came off looking like some sort of weird political debate platform.

There’s been no word on whether or not The Glass House will be getting a second season. Would you watch if there’s a second season?

IF ABC was smart, they would move this to the winter months and do it (and make it somewhat longer) to get all us BB fans.

But at this rate, they already shot themselves in the head and I doubt it will be renewed.

I would guess that there would be no second season. I thought the show was okay, but not great and if they do decide to have a second season, I would have to agree with jordguitar and they should do it during the winter. I was rooting for Kevin or Andrea to win, because I thought they both played the game awesome, they were there for the game, and that is it. The show comes on a little too late for me, so when I woke up I had to watch it to find out who won. I used my Hopper with the Auto Hop feature, so it skipped the commercials for me and gave me more time to get ready before having to head to work at Dish. I feel bad for Erica and how they got her drunk to self destruct herself, but it is a game and you have to remember that when you are in those kinds of games.

I would watch a second season, but doubt there will be one. ABC did a poor job of balancing their live feeds. produced shows and what happened when there was no stream. The contestants final pleas happened last Thursday and were aired live on their stream. The voting had actually been going on for 24 prior.

I didn’t even watch the finally because I knew Kevin would win, and don’t even care enough to watch. This show swallows…. Big Brother ftw.

It was easy to tell who had won, because Kevin’s family were the only family members with the mics around their necks.

Wouldn’t watch. This show was so awful! I couldn’t get past the first few episodes. Definitely a struggle to watch. Sorry

No. Couldnt even keep my attention with the first season even though i gave it a fair try.The cast was composed of annoying brown-nosers. Actual gameplay and strategy between players was too limited with the general public doing the voting. And once a week for that kinda show is hardly enough to catch my attention. I’m gonna stick to big brother.

I wouldn’t watch again. It is so disappointing when a bully wins- Kevin is a bully and Andrea is too- and they never had to pay for their poor behavior- they were rewarded for it!

I tried to watch because I was sick of Big Brother…but this turned out to be worst than Big Brother. No 2nd season for me. The audience voting jacked this up horribly. It’s like American Idol voting…eeeeeek
