Honey Boo Boo’s Family Getting a Raise
TLC has upped the ante for the second season of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo
Hear that? That’s Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson hollerin’ for not just a dollar, but 20,000 of them.
That’s right, y’all. The Here Comes Honey Boo Boo family is getting a raise for the second season of the runaway hit TLC show. According to multiple reports, the family will be getting somewhere between $15,000 – $20,000 per episode for the second season of the unscripted show.
Earlier reports said TLC was only shelling out between $5,000 – $7,000 per episode. So this is quite the pay bump. According to TMZ, the network has also offered a bodyguard/driver for Sugar Bear (Honey Boo Boo’s dad) after he was injured in an ATV accident. TMZ also says that TLC has offered to put the family in a larger home, but Mama June has declined.
What else has Mama declined? Apparently a lot of offers from Hollywood. Mama says she’s not ready for an agent because she doesn’t want to make obligations that will take her away from her family.
Congratulations to the Honey Boo Boo family! Go buy some real spaghetti sauce now!
