Big Ang’s Show Debuts Tonight!

Yay! The Mob Wives‘ larger than life diva Big Ang’s new show premiers Sunday night at 9PM/8C on VH1. One thing we are sure to see a lot of on the show (besides lips and tits) is drinking. Big Ang is not only a bar owner at the Staten Island bar The Drunken Monkey, she also loves to drink – and so do all of her friends. Good news for us because this means trainwreck!

So…what a better way to watch the show than with one of Big Ang’s famous (or infamous) signature cocktails? Nothing like an ice cold martini on a hot summer day, and even though my liquor cabinet isn’t stocked with everything I need to make this tonight, I WILL be trying this drink out very soon. It sounds delicious, and as Big Ang puts it:

“The women love them because they creep up on ya. Then you’re whacked!”

Sure, she’s known for having mob ties, but her definition of whacked is being hammered, not offing someone. If looks could kill though…

So here is the recipe, for all you juicers out there:

The Drunken Monkey Martini

1 oz. Vanilla Vodka
1 oz. Malibu Rum
1 oz. Vodka
Splash of cranberry, pineapple
Shake with ice in a martini

I feel as if Big Ang could be my daughter because she is doing or has done what I’ve dreamed of doing but being born in the South ,Ihave been strictly told what and when to do it.
