Three Reality TV Crew Members Killed In Heli- Crash

Early Sunday morning at 3:40 am, a helicopter crashed on Polsa Rose Movie Ranch, a place known for regularly filming movies, TV shows and commercials. It is reported that the three men in the helicopter were killed in the crash while working on an untitled military-based reality series for the Discovery Channel.

All three men were reported deceased on the scene, and recently have been identified as 46-year-old David Gene Gibbs, 46-year-old Darren Arthur Rydstrom and 45-year-old Michael Willim Donatelli, each a veteran crew member of the reality TV industry. It is confirmed that the crew was in production and had a permit to film during the times of 5 pm to 7 am during the time of the crash. Investigations as to what caused the crash are still ongoing.

A representative from Discovery Channel has released the following statement in regards to the issue, “We are all cooperating fully with authorities. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families.”
