Ex-Amazing Race Producer Found Dead

Jeff Rice, a former producer and facilitator for The Amazing Race has died under mysterious circumstances in Uganda, according to multiple reports.

Rice, 39, who also worked for Animal Planet’s Whale Wars died Friday night, according to reports. At first there was speculation that he died of poisioning. Rice’s brother-in-law Paul Blackman wasn’t sure of that. “I don’t know where they are getting this ‘definitely poisoned’ thing,” Blackman told msnbc.

“We’ve sent people up there to get some answers,” Blackman added. “Nothing is finalized yet.”

To cause more suspcision, Rice’s assistant was hopsitalized after becoming ill. Some reports say both were poisioned while others say cocaine was involved.
