Season 25: Philippines Cast Revealed!

September is right around the corner and you know what that means! Survivor Season 25 is about to get underway.

Premiering the night Big Brother 14 ends, Survivor: Philippines is set to begin on Wednesday September 19.

CBS had the following to say about the upcoming season:

“For the first time in eight years, Survivor: Philippines will be comprised of three tribes named after animals in the region: Kalabaw (“Water Buffalo”), Tandang (“Rooster”) and Matsing (“Monkey”). The tribes feature individuals from different backgrounds competing for the same ultimate goal: to be Sole Survivor.”

Fifteen of the eighteen cast members were announced today, with the final three cast members to be announced later this week. The final three players are “former players who were medically evacuated from the game and are returning to finish what they started.”

For those of you are into spoilers (although it’s really not much of a spoiler if you’ve been keeping up on things) the returning Survivors are Jonathan Penner, Russ Swan and Michael Skupin.Yes, CBS’ love affair with returning players continues, but I actually like their reasoning this time. All returning players were previously removed from the game after suffering medical mishaps.

Will you be watching?

I agree that having returning players sux. But the reason for these 3 trumps the other resons they have used returns. Looking forward to the season.

If Colton comes back, I won’t be a faithful survivor watcher. Of course I’m going to tune in on the premiere and watch the show, but I really just won’t care if I miss and episode or 2. I really just cannot stand his spoiled, ungrateful, hateful, disgusting personality. Last season’s finale was a complete joke and I didn’t buy any of. The only person I felt bad for was his mother, because he brought shame upon not only himself, but his whole family.

Blair from the “Facts of Life”?? Oh how funny. Yes!! I will be tuning in to see where this one goes. Maybe Tootie or Natalie will get flown in to host a comp! (I know they won’t, but I can dream!)

I’ve thought of Michael Skulpin many times and glad to see him return and hope he does well. He was so dedicated to his tribe, when they medical evacuated him he was refusing to eat food, etc., thinking he would return to his tribe. Go Michael!!!
