Spivey Says: The Bachelorette Video Recap Episode 8

Hey y’all! Thanks for coming back for another installment of Spivey Says, where I’ll be recapping the good, the bad, and the ugly of each episode of The Bachelorette!

This week, Emily visited the final four’s hometowns and I have to admit that it’s a little hard to discuss everyone’s families and keep things funny.  I actually thought that everyone had really cute families and Emily would be lucky to have in-laws like them!  However, there were some good, bad, and ugly parts of this episode!

Holy crap – I thought Jef’s comment last week was the best thing ever but this week he really blew me away with the letter that he wrote Emily!  I was bawling like a little baby when he was talking about how he would be a father to little Ricki.  I think that maybe I’ve jumped aboard the #teamJef boat!  I also really loved Sean’s dad – Isn’t he the cutest thing ever?  He just seems like the sweetest man – hell, think he’d let me adopt him as a dad?

Arie took a little step back in my book this week when he allowed his mom to speak in Dutch and talk about Emily – WITH EMILY PRESENT!  This is not cool.  Emily felt so uncomfortable and she was already so nervous to begin with!  Another bad thing about last night’s episode was Sean and Emily’s kisses.  How the heck are they awkward again?  Why can’t they have consistently good kisses?!?  I don’t understand!

However, the worst thing about last night’s episode was Chris’ regression into a toddler once Emily eliminated him.  He pouted, raised his voice, and showed no compassion for the difficult decision that Emily had to make.  It even looked like he flipped her off when he left in the limo!
