The Voice Playoffs Part 2 Scorecard

Teams Xtina and Cee Lo take to the stage

The Voice Playoffs Part 2 Scorecard

On Wednesday night, The Voice returned with Part 2 of the playoffs as Teams Christina and Cee Lo took to the stage to sing for America’s vote and a shot to make it into the Top 12. Teams Adam and Blake performed on Monday night.

Just a refresher how this works. America’s votes will  be revealed Thursday night as will the judges’ final pick. So America chooses two acts from each team and the coaches pick one, to give them each a team of three. One person from each team will be going home. Then next week, the live vote starts and anyone from any team will be vulnerable for elimination.

Best Performance of the Night

It wasn’t easy picking this round’s best performance. It could have easily been Cody, Nicholas, Dez or Trevin. But Sylvia’s version of Katy Perry’s “The One Who Got Away” actually made me want to buy it. See, I don’t listen to Katy Perry. Ever. So if she or someone else writes a great song that she sings, I’ll likely miss it. So what I’m saying is, I loved this song and I’m glad Sylvia turned me onto it. And her vocals were spot on. She was great.

What did you think of the playoffs? Who are your favorites? Did you vote, if so who did you vote for?

Dez is going to win over the ladies! Last night was good, but Adam & Blake have stronger teams.

I agree on both parts. Dez will be in it for a long time.

“But Sylvia’s version of Katy Perry’s “The One Who Got Away” actually made me want to buy it.” *GASP!!!!* Dayam, she must have done a superb job to make you write that. I missed her performance as I only very sporadically watch, and mostly watch for Adam Levine content…it is what it is.

Adam’s team is too strong in my opinion, and Blake irritates me so I just ignore him.

Cody Belew, by far did the best of the night. He’s my pick for the total win. He’s amazing! Great Voice, Great Looking, Great Command of the Stage, and he’s funny as all get-out!
