The Voice Top 12 Announced

After three nights of The Voice this week, we’ve finally got your Season 3 Top 12. And it’s a solid Top 12. There were a few slight surprises, but for the most part, I think these are the finalists most people would have predicted.

• America’s Choice: Amanda Brown and Bryan Keith
• Adam’s Choice: Melanie Martinez
• Cut: Loren Allred and Joselyn Rivera

Team Blake Shelton

• America’s Choice: Terry McDermott  and Cassadee Pope
• Blake’s Choice: Michaela Paige
• Cut: Julio Cesar Castillo and Liz Davis

Team Christina Aguilera

• America’s Choice: Dez Duron and Sylvia Yacoub
• Christina’s Choice: Adriana Louise
• Cut: De’Borah and Devyn DeLoera

Team Cee Lo

• America’s Choice: Trevin Hunte and Nicholas David
• Cee Lo’s Choice: Cody Belew
• Cut: Mackenzie Bourg and Diego Val

So there were a few things that caught me by surprise. First of all, I expected America to vote De’Borah into the Top 12. I also thought Christina would save her. I was wrong about both. On Team Cee Lo, I would have bet everything I own that America would have voted Cody in. I actually thought he’d be one of the highest vote-getters of the whole group. But apparently not. I knew Cee Lo would save him, thought. There’s no way he deserved to leave the contest.
