The Voice Results: Elimination Shocker

Which four will compete in next week's finale?

The Voice Results: Elimination Shocker

The Top 8 became the Top 4 on The Voice Tuesday night as four more singers were sent packing after America's votes and their coaches points weren't enough to send them to next week's finale.

Each coach had 100 points to divide among their Top 2 contestants in any way. Christina Aguilera gave Chris Mann and Linday Pavao 50 points each. Adam Levine gave Tony Lucca 60 points and Katrina Parker 40. Blake Shelton divided his 100 equally between Erin Willett and Jermaine Paul. Cee Lo Green gave Jamar Rodgers 40 points and Juliet Simms 60.

During the live results show, here's how America's votes and their coaches scores played out:

Team Christina

  • Chris Mann: 104 Points - IN
  • Linday Pavao: 96 Points - OUT
Team Adam
  • Tony Lucca: 108 Points – IN
  • Katrina Parker: 93 Points – OUT

Team Blake
  • Erin Willett: 77 Points – OUT
  • Jermaine Paul: 123 Points – IN
Team Cee Lo
  • Jamar Rodgers: 79 Points – OUT
  • Juliet Simms: 121 Points – IN
Fans are sure to be shocked that Jamar Rodgers was sent packing. He's been the show's frontrunner pretty much since the Blind Auditions. People resounded well to his story and his talent. But during the past couple weeks, Juliet Simms has come on strong and gave Jamar a run for his money during this week's performances. And even if Cee Lo had not thrown 10 points less to Jamar, America's votes still would have given Juliet the edge.
So your Top 4 competing in next week's finale is Juliet Simms, Jermaine Paul, Chris Mann and Tony Lucca.
