Judge Blocks Mom From Putting Kid In Pageants

Toddlers & Tiaras mom faces custody battle

A mother who dressed her daughter as Dolly Parton during a pageant featured on Toddlers & Tiaras could lose custody of the child.

During an episode of the controversial TLC show, Lindsay Jackson dressed her daughter Maddy in a padded bra, butt pads, a blond wig and a slinky gown. Now the girl’s father, Bill Verst, is fighting for full custody of the girl, claiming the mother sexually exploited the then 5-year-old girl.

A judge put a gag order on Lindsay and blocked her from entering Maddy in any pageants until the proceedings are over.

”Maddy has been doing pageants since she was a baby and this is the first time Bill has ever said I’m a bad mother,” Lindsay told RadarOnline before the judge issued a gag order. ”He never made an argument about it until the show aired, and now he’s trying to say that she’s sexualized and that I’m trying to exploit her and I’m not!”

According to RadarOnline, Bill is a convicted felon, on probation for DUI. So who deciding is the better parent could get pretty messy.
