Top Chef Seattle: Jalapeno Business
Chefs makes dishes inspired by roller derby names
This week on Top Chef Seattle, the chefs met some members of Seattle’s Rat City Rollergirls and were asked to make dishes inspired by their derby names: Jalapeno Business, Kutta Rump, Eddie Shredder, Tempura Tantrum and Teriyaki Terror. And since there are only five, the chefs have to split into teams.
Stealing the show this week, however, is returning vet Josie’s loud mouth, drunken attitude and an apparent accusation that fellow chef Micah is a closeted gay? Who knows what that was about, but during an altercation, Josie looked at Micah and said “This tree right here? You don’t want to bark up, Micah! This right here? Knows what she is. You are hiding in a closet!” So I guess she’s a tree and Micah is gay. *Shrugs*
