Season 10 Premiere: Battle For Seattle
Out of 21 chefs, 15 are headed to Seattle to compete
Top Chef Seattle premiered Wednesday night, but we didn’t get a taste of the city just yet. The 21 chefs chosen to take part in the 10th season were split into groups and sent to judges’ restaurants at various locations to compete for the Top Chef chef coats and the shot to compete the rest of the season in Seattle.
I was pretty nervous when I first heard there were going to be 21 chefs. But that’s how it’s been going the past few seasons. A larger number of chefs compete on the premiere to move on. This season gave us the best format yet, however. As I mentioned, the chefs were split into groups of four and sent to complete tasks for judges Tom Colicchio, Hugh Acheson, Emeril Lagasse, and Wolfgang Puck, new this season . Here’s how that went:
Group 1
Judge: Tom Colichio
Location: Los Angeles
