Top Chef Seattle: Berry Battle
Chefs go head-to-head cooking with berries
This week on Top Chef Seattle, the chefs went head-to-head in a berry battle. But it was the Quickfire that stole the show.
For the Quickfire Challenge, the chefs had to pick their ingredients based only on size and weight as they were all wrapped in aluminum foil. And the first catch was if you unwrap it you MUST use it. So if you get a lemon instead of an onion, you have to use it. Oh, and you can cook only using foil. No pots or pans. So it was a lot of fun to watch.
So the elimination challenge put the chefs in a one-on-one battle cooking with berries at the Remlinger Farms Berry Festival. And the festival guests get to vote on which dishes are their favorites. That means the bottom group up for elimination will be decided by the crowd, not the judges. The judges will decide who goes, though.
