X Factor judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Sherzinger are receiving death threats after their shocking elimination of popular contestant Drew Thursday night.

According to TMZ, the two judges have been receiving Facebook and Twitter messages from outraged fans.

One angry viewer had this to say: “@PaulaAbdul and @nicolescherzy you two deserve all the hate. You both made a selfish decision and should be ashamed of yourselves!!”

Another said: “@PaulaAbdul & @NicoleScherzy dumb wh**** voted off the wrong person because theyre hating @drewryniewicz has more talent than they ever will.”

The messages then quickly turned this: “@NicoleScherzy @paulaabdul go die.”

Then they got worse: “F**K you paula you dumb c**t you voted off the most talented person on your f**king show. i hope you die you DUMB B***H.”

A source close to the show told the London Daily Mail that Paula and Nicole are shocked at the level of outrage.

“Paula and Nicole have been really shocked by the reaction they have had, immediately after the show they were being bombarded with messages angry fans who supported Drew,” the source said.

Nicole and Paula voted to send Drew home Thursday after she landed in the bottom alongside Marcus Canty. Drew was a favorite among her mentor judge Simon Cowell. Simon surely gave Nicole and Paula the cold shoulder after their shocking decision Thursday, but that’s apparently nothing compared to what Drew’s fans feel.

    That’s like when Shelly voted off Jeff in BB13 and her family received death threats. It’s ridiculous. It’s just a show. Drew has probably been seen and will become famous. Just because she was voted off doesnt mean she wont be famous, she has a beautiful voice. Wow people are immature.

    Yes that is carrying it too far, but speaking of being immature, Paula and Nicole let their jealousy go too far. Drew has more talent in her little toe than Marcus has. P & N just wanted Simon to lose a contestant.

      Yeah I know. I totally agree with you! I was upset like everyone else, and I’d rather Drew stay there over Marcus. I was super mad. No excuse for P & N to do that, but as far as people carrying death threats..whoa

    Paula and Nicole got it right, the better singer shone thru on the night, and Drew was getting boring, same old same old every week, same bloody tune, was getting really sick of listening to her voice
